Digital Democracy Initiative
MARCH 28-30 ISTANBUL
The regional codesign workshop for Eastern Europe and Central Asia is part of the Digital Democracy Initiative, a global effort designed to support civil society around the world to continue strengthening civic space and promoting inclusive democracy in the digital age. The main goal of the workshop is to engage local civil society actors operating in restrictive contexts in Eastern Europe and Central Asia in a collective exploration of the regional ecosystem for civil society to identify context-specific needs and opportunities for using digital technology to promote inclusive democracy. During the workshop, we will also co-design new potential mechanisms to channel financial and non-financial resources to advance the digital resiliency of civil society in the region.
